Thoughts of a Copywriter 1

Writing doesn’t appear like hardwork from the eyes of a client. So they think… ‘Just open a writing pad and do your thing!’.

Truth is that writing in itself is fun for many writers including me, but writing doesn’t entail only writing.

For a Copywriter, the hard work is Brand/Product immersion. Until a Copywriter becomes one with the brand/product, an excellent copy is still very faraway.

Just like a ten minutes musical performance requires weeks of rehearsals, an excellent and highly converting copy requires research, keyword search, customer studies and brand/product studies.

So when next you are hiring a Copywriter, see it from a broader perspective. Just my thoughts…
